About this course

A university-style operating systems course taught in Urdu on the recluze channel, about 28 hours over 40 recorded lectures. It starts with OS structure, system calls, processes, process states and creation, signals, the proc filesystem, threads and synchronization with semaphores, then covers scheduling, segmentation and paging, file systems and virtual memory. The second half turns practical: access control, cryptography and secure communication, SSH, containers with Docker, configuration management and monitoring servers. It suits BS Computer Science students taking OS and anyone heading towards system administration or DevOps work.

Before you start: Basic programming in C or Python and comfort with the command line.
