How Sabaq works
- 1. We pick the best free courses. Only official uploads by the teacher or institution, checked by hand and scored for completeness, teaching and how current they are.
- 2. We turn them into lessons. Playlists become ordered lessons, and long videos are split at the teacher's own chapters, so you can track progress inside a 10-hour video.
- 3. You learn at your pace. Pick up at the exact second you stopped, take timestamped notes, and follow a path with real milestones.
Questions
- Is Sabaq free?
- Yes. Every course, lesson and path is free to watch, with no sign-up and no ads from Sabaq. Videos play in YouTube's own player from the teacher's official channel.
- Do I need an account?
- No. Your progress and notes are saved on this device as you learn. A free DanixSoft account only adds syncing your progress between phone and laptop.
- Where do the courses come from?
- From official uploads by universities, companies and Pakistani teachers on their own YouTube channels, such as Harvard CS50, MIT OpenCourseWare, freeCodeCamp, DigiSkills, GFXMentor and Hisham Sarwar. We organise them into lessons and write our own summaries.
- Is Sabaq an alternative to DigiSkills?
- It is a complement. DigiSkills runs batches with deadlines and certificates; Sabaq is always open and self-paced, and lists DigiSkills' own published lectures as a course you can follow any time.
