About this course
MIT's ordinary differential equations course with Professor Arthur Mattuck, recorded in 2006. The lectures cover geometric methods and direction fields, numerical methods, first-order linear equations, complex numbers and exponentials, second-order linear equations with constant coefficients, oscillations and resonance, Fourier series, Laplace transforms, and systems of equations with matrix methods. It suits engineering, physics and mathematics students who have finished calculus. It is a natural companion to MIT 18.06 Linear Algebra.
Before you start: Single-variable calculus
