About this course
Cognito's GCSE (9-1) chemistry course in about 80 short animated videos of roughly five minutes each. It starts with atoms and ions (protons, neutrons, electrons), elements, isotopes and relative atomic mass, compounds and mixtures, balancing equations and separation techniques such as filtration, crystallisation and distillation, then covers bonding, quantitative chemistry, chemical changes, energy changes, rates, organic chemistry, chemical analysis and the atmosphere, ending with potable water, waste water treatment and the Haber process. Clear and compact, it matches O Level and IGCSE chemistry closely and is ideal for quick revision of a topic.
