About this course

CrashCourse's newer 50-episode biology series, hosted by Dr Sammy, with episodes of about 12 to 15 minutes. It starts with an introduction to biology, the scientific method, what biologists do and how life is organised, then moves through ecology, cells, genetics and DNA, evolution, the diversity of life, and the human body, and closes with episodes on sex and gender, animal behaviour and a final episode on biology and you. Each episode opens with a real-world puzzle, such as why a group of elephants died. A good, modern overview for class 9 to 12 students and anyone returning to biology.
