About this course
MIT's introductory biology course from Fall 2018, taught by Professors Barbara Imperiali and Adam Martin. Lectures begin with chemical bonding and molecular interactions, lipids and membranes, amino acids and proteins, enzymes and metabolism, then continue through carbohydrates, nucleic acids, DNA replication, transcription and translation, genetics, recombinant DNA, cell signalling, and topics in neuroscience and infectious disease. It suits FSc pre-medical and pre-engineering students heading to university life sciences. CrashCourse Biology is a lighter companion.
