- Explain magnetic fields, induction and EM waves
About this course
Walter Lewin's MIT electricity and magnetism lectures on his own channel. After an introduction, lectures cover electric charges and Coulomb's law, electric field lines and superposition, electric flux and Gauss's law, electrostatic potential, capacitance, current and resistance, circuits, magnetic fields, Biot-Savart and Ampere's laws, Faraday's law and induction, and electromagnetic waves, all with striking demonstrations. It suits FSc Part 2 students and university freshers. Take Lewin's 8.01x mechanics first.
Before you start: Mechanics (e.g. 8.01x) and basic calculus
