About this course
Virtual University of Pakistan's general physics course delivered by physicist Dr. Pervez Hoodbhoy. After an introduction to physics and the course, the lectures work through kinematics, force and Newton's laws and their applications, then continue across the rest of a first university physics course towards waves, electricity and modern physics. The teaching stresses physical intuition with simple demonstrations rather than heavy algebra. It suits FSc students and non-physics majors; afterwards try Walter Lewin's 8.01 for deeper mechanics.
