Usool e Hadith Course in Urdu (Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Zubair)

A 13-lesson course on the sciences of hadith (usool al-hadith) in Urdu by Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Zubair, each class about an hour, 12 hours in total. It begins with the terminology of hadith and the types of hadith by the number of narrators, explains mutawatir and ahad reports and the five conditions of a sahih hadith, then moves to the types of accepted hadith, additions by reliable narrators, reconciling apparently conflicting hadith, breaks in the chain of narration and the causes of fabrication and weakness. The final lessons cover terms like mu'allal, mudraj and maqlub, how hadith are received and transmitted, the grades of narrator criticism and the main types of hadith books.
