About this course
Professor Patrick Winston's MIT AI course from Fall 2010. After an introduction and scope, the lectures cover reasoning with goal trees and rule-based expert systems, search and optimal search, games and adversarial search, constraint propagation, learning with nearest neighbours, decision trees, neural nets, genetic algorithms, support vector machines and boosting, and representations of knowledge. It gives a broad, classic foundation in AI that complements modern deep-learning courses. It suits CS students after programming and basic algorithms.
