About this course

MIT's first-year calculus course with Professor David Jerison, recorded in 2007. The lectures move from derivatives, limits and continuity through differentiation rules, implicit differentiation and inverse functions, linear and quadratic approximation, curve sketching, optimisation and related rates, to integration, the fundamental theorem and techniques of integration. It suits strong FSc students and university freshers who want a rigorous lecture-hall course. Follow it with MIT 18.02 Multivariable Calculus.
