About this course
A focused typography course from the JotPixel channel. The lessons explain serif and sans-serif font categories, font pairing, the emotional effect of type, the anatomy of letterforms, kerning versus tracking, tracking and leading, legibility and readability, and practical guides and a cheat sheet for choosing fonts for a design. It suits beginner designers whose layouts feel amateur because of weak type choices, and works well alongside any Photoshop, Illustrator or Canva course. Afterwards, practise by redesigning posters or social posts with only typography.
Before you start: No prior experience needed.
