About this course
6 Minute English is BBC Learning English's long-running listening series. In each episode two presenters discuss a topical question, such as what to eat for better sleep, why gold is valuable, whether apps can teach languages or who does the housework, and explain six useful words or phrases along the way. It builds listening comprehension and topic vocabulary at natural speed. It suits intermediate learners and IELTS candidates who need more exposure to real spoken English; watch one episode a day and note the new vocabulary.
