About this course

A Quranic Arabic grammar course in English from Sirat Ul Quran, built on the widely used Madinah Arabic Book 1. It opens with basic concepts: letters and vowels, alif versus hamza, types of words, gender, definite and indefinite nouns, case endings (i'raab), triptotes and diptotes. It then works through the book's lessons: nominal sentences, demonstratives such as haadha and dhaalika, question words, the definite article and connecting hamza, sun and moon letters, and prepositional phrases. It suits learners who can read the Quran and want to start understanding its language.
