About this course
Grant Abbitt's free beginner course recorded in Blender 2.8. Part 1 explains the interface, Part 2 modelling, Part 3 editing meshes, Part 4 materials, Part 5 builds a small monster character, and Part 6 covers rendering and atmosphere. Extra videos discuss what to model first and where to begin with 3D. It suits learners who like a calm, methodical teacher and a different project from the donut series. The interface has changed a little in newer versions, but the workflow is the same. Afterwards, practise with Grant's exercise-style videos or a low-poly scene.
Before you start: A computer that can run Blender (free download).
